The OCF-2K™ our version of the classic off-center feed dipole is a great antenna. Each is hand-built and individually tested to meet or exceed all mil-specs for wire antennas. The materials and construction methods used are second to none! This antenna will take weather conditions that would destroy lessor designs! Only 135 feet overall and weighing 5 pounds, everything about this antenna is built like a truck! the OCF-2K HF antenna covers 80/75, 40, 20, 17, 12, 10 and 6 meter Amateur bands and is CCS rated at 2KW CW/4KW SSB! VSWR is very low within the bands covered, and will perform well with no tuner at all! Use the tuning unit in most any modern Amateur transceiver and the match is outstanding! Want to operate on 30 or 15 meters? Most manufacturers of off-center feed designs will tell you that you'll void their warranty if you even try, but not us! Use any good outboard tuning unit and not only can you operate 30 and 15 meters but out of band frequencies as well. The OCF-2K will even give you an acceptable match on 60 meters, using an outboard tuner and works great for MARS/CAP and many other HF frequencies outside the Amateur bands! Our true 4:1, hand-built baluns are the reason. The antenna in total, is covered by our "no non-sense", one year warranty but the balun is covered for life against just about everything but a direct lightning strike! Because our baluns are true baluns, they are at DC ground and bleed-off static charges before they can damage sensitive and expensive equipment. This makes them quieter too!

The OCF-2K can be installed as a flat-top or inverted-v. It comes to you fully assembled and even includes 25 feet of high quality, 1/8 inch double-braided polyester suspension rope on each end. All hardware is stainless-steel and includes 2 inch U-bolts for mast mounting. Be sure to download and read the OCF-2K Owner's Manual for full specifications, available on our Downloads Page.
