These are custom made to fit our type 2 and 3 mast sections.  Machined from solid acytal polymer, this part is a friction fit inside the bottom-most Mast Section of a Type 2 or 3 mast and takes the full load.  It anchors the mast to the ground; avoiding "kick-out" and protecting the fiberglass section from damage that might otherwise be possible if the mast were setting directly on the ground.  Acytal polymer is extremely hard and dense, and is resistant to UV and most chemicals. Many of our tactical antenna parts for our military customers are made from this material. It has been tested from -40° to 132°C and should last a lifetime in amateur applications!

Only one is required per mast.  The part is offered here for those who might want to build their own mast from parts. Our new Type 2 Mast Kit will include one of these, along with all the other parts, materials and instructions required for a complete guyed mast, 24 feet (7.38M) high.  Like everything we sell; these are covered by our "no non-sense" 1 Year Warranty and may be returned for full credit, minus shipping costs, if you are dissatisfied in any way!
