Type 2 Antenna Mast Components Type 2 antenna mast sections are light-weight, extremely tough, pultruded fiberglass; with a .125 inch (3.175mm) wall thickness and 1.50 inch (38.10mm) outside diameter.   These mast sections are 72 inches (1.82M) in length in a dark, military OD green color and intended for permanent and semi-permanent applications such as fixed-station antenna support.  They are designed to be put up and left up for prolonged periods in any climate.  Each mast section fits together with others to form a strong, guyed mast up to six sections, or 36 feet (10.97M) high; that may be used for the support of antennas, weather and other instrumentation packages, lighting, CCTV cameras, etc.   In addition to the fiberglass mast sections, we offer all components required for those wishing to build their own high-quality masts systems; including .125 inch (3.175mm) double-braided, UV resistant poly rope for guys, polymer guy rings and guy length adjusters, aluminum ground stakes and attachment hardware such as polymer snap-hooks, "D" rings, etc.   All components are new, and NOT military surplus.  These are the same high quality components we use in the manufacture of our military and government antenna systems.   "Click" this link, to view a page with photos and specifications of all type 2 mast components.  Each order for a 36 foot (10.97M) GROUND-MOUNT MAST KIT; comes with COMPLETE instructions and ALL required parts and materials for building your own mast, complete with required guy assembles.
