Acetal Polymer Triangle, Black, Package of 10 - $6.00
Used on guys and element wires, NEW

On the top is the end of one of our manufactured guys, for use in a military antenna system. Note the heavy swagged aluminum crimp, covered with HD black shrink-tubing, holding the rope. The unit on the bottom is one of our swivel snaphooks without attachment.

These are what we use in the manufacture of all our wire antennas and support hardware, mast guy assemblies, etc., even those built for our very demanding goverment and military customers! Acetal is a crystalline thermoplastic polymer with excellent tensile strength, stiffness, surface hardness, chemical and UV resistance. It has excellent flexural memory and property retention when subjected to repeated loading. Its temperature range of -40°F to +270°F (-40°C to +132°C) covers just about anything to be encountered on planet earth! Acetal is recommended for high performance applications. Its Physical properties remain consistent across a wide range of temperature, relative humidity, and weather conditions. We use it a lot for many parts we used to make from aluminum alloys. Its a lot less expensive than aluminum, lighter in weight, easier to machine too! It doesn't have to be protected by coatings like anodizing; which is very expensive and has a limited life.

These triangles won't rust or corrode like many metal parts do and they are just the right size for use in combination with our other available antenna hardware and .125 inch (3.14mm) double-braided guy rope. Like everything we build and sell; these are covered by our "no non-sense" 1 Year Warranty and may be returned for full credit, minus shipping costs, if you are dissatisfied in any way! Purchase online by using the links below.

Here is a shot of one of our military antenna systems showing three TRIANGLES used for connection points for multiple guys and element wires. This shot shows a strain-relieved wire antenna element with a swivel snaphook, connected to a TRIANGLE. Here is another shot showing a snaphook being connected to a TRIANGLE at the top of one of our military antenna systems. In this shot, you see where the TRIANGLE is used to great advantage. Two connections are shown to the TRIANGLE, coming from different angles. Note the area in the black circle.
